UCSD Alzheimer's (Huntington's) Brain Tissue Donor Bank

The patient must have previously sign a tissue consent, then the patient will be provided a "green" paper card with this information. The family of the diseased will need to call to have the body removed and taken to UCSD for the tissue donation, after that they will call the Mortuary chosen by the family to come to pick up the diseased remains. Office hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm 858-622-5800, after office hours or weekends call 619-543-6737, and ask to speak with the Alzheimer's MD on call.
